Language and Activity Courses for 11-18 year-old boys and girls
Just ten minutes by train from Victoria Station, set in a beautiful leafy campus in South East London, Dulwich college enjoys the best of both worlds.
Founded in 1619, the College has a tradition of academic excellence and is famous for its impressive architecture dating from the late nineteenth century. It also has amongst the best school sports facilities in London, with a swimming pool, squash courts, numerous tennis courts and sports pitches and a large sports centre with weights room equipped to the highest standards.
The course has run successfully for eight years, with one hundred students last year from all over Europe and the Far East. Most stay for three or four weeks from mid-July to mid-August, though shorter or longer courses can be arranged.
Half the day is spent in the classroom studying English, in small groups of mixed nationalities. Afternoons involve a wide range of sporting activities, as well as music, drama and art options. In the evenings there is a busy programme of social activities. There are also regular cultural visits to London, Brighton, Leeds Castle and other places of interest. Everything is included in the cost.
Students have the choice of staying either with English host families for boarding in the three College houses.
